NOiZUCON 2022, formerly known as serverDNA, is just around the corner. This coming weekend, Saturday, October 15, 2022, the annual tech-filled convention will kick off a two-day event full of fun activities for gamers and tech enthusiasts alike, the largest gamers gathering in Malaysia.
The same as our previous ServerDNA IV (Physical Event) experience, the two-day event will feature several tech-brand showcases as well as workshops, panel discussions, networking events, and cosplay. Furthermore, it will be hosting a special event for gamers and aspiring game developers in collaboration with MDEC, the Malaysia Game Fest. Twelve Malaysian game developers will be showcasing their existing and upcoming games such as Skyfeather Games Studio, Kotakoren Games Studio, Persona Theory Games, Nimbus Games, DreamTree Studio Sdn Bhd, Roundtable Games Studio Sdn Bhd, Ammobox Studios and Xenoaisam Studio. One More Dream Studio, the team behind Ageless, a 2D platform puzzle action game and Magnus Games Studio, known for Re:Legend will be in attendance at the event. This is a good opportunity to meet interesting developers and learn more about the work they do and try their upcoming games.
If you are familiar with the fighting game GigaBash, where you control giant monsters called “Kaiju”, they’ll also be present at the event for a PC game challenge brought by Sades Games. Attendees will also be able to enjoy other activities such as the Racing Rig Tournament, Pokemon Trading Card Game, Dungeons & Dragons and Magic Gathering. The new RPG game, Tower of Fantasy will also be gracing the event with tons of activities lined up for all attendees of NOIZUCON 2022 with limited edition rewards.
E-Medica “Esports Medica” will also return. Founded by Dr. Zatul-‘Iffah Abu Hassan, it brings health awareness to the video game industry in Malaysia. Esport Medica will aid the government and Esports organizations in Malaysia to develop a solid infrastructure and provide gamers with proper guidelines on how to stay healthy. Doctors specializing in various fields will be in the event, including Psychology, Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery and etc.
Different gaming tech brands will also be showing off their flagship devices like from Logitech G, Predator, Tech Armoury, even in creative tech-industry, Wacom and many more.
Let’s Coswalk Cosplay Runway Competition and the Influencer Central are among the events happening at NOIZUCON 2022. There will be a gaming zone featuring PS4 and PS5 games such as the new Fifa 2023, VR games, and PC games all free to play. There’s also a photography corner taken by professional photographer A.R.C. Photography.
The season 2 of V-Idol competition will also be held, a virtual avatar singing competition organized and sponsored by Comfy Guild and Medibeats Productions and supported by VTube Studio. All V-Tubers around the world can participate to stand a chance to win an original single and fully rigged model!
