Metal Slug Code: J Alpha Test will Starts on July 21 and 26

Get hyped, gamers! The first alpha test of the upcoming mobile arcade game Metal Slug Code: J will starts on July 21 and July 26. In the first country to try this game is the Philippines. The game is a collaboration between the original maker of the franchise SNK, the developer TiMi Studio Group of Tencent, and lastly the one who bringing the game to Southeast Asia, the VNG games.

The alpha test will be on two phase, the first phase will starts on July 21 and second phase will starts on July 26. But there’s a catch – only 2,000 players will be available to participate per phase and so far we have no information if the game are still playable beyond these dates.

Metal Slug Code: J is a side-scrolling shooter game where the player will take control of one of the series protagonists, Marco Rossi, Fio Germi, Eri Kasamoto or Tarma as they run and gun their way through hordes of enemies. It is a remake of the original 1996 arcade game where it features 3D graphics instead of the original 2D pixel art. The characters, levels, enemies and bosses will be the same with added new mechanics and gameplay.

  • Phase 1: Available on July 21, 2022 (First 2,000 Players only)
  • Phase 2: Available on July 26, 2022 (First 2,000 Players only)
  • Country: Strictly available for Philippines
  • Minimum Requirement: Android OS with 4GB RAM and above, 3GB of space
