Who does not want a gaming rig with an RGB? Most Gamers and PC enthusiasts probably want to have it. But there are some people out there that want to build their rig without the three lightning colors (Red, Green, Blue), just simple, clean, and minimalist. Well, worry no more as TeamGroup is releasing another variant of their T-Force ARGB XTREEM DDR4 Memory, the White Edition which gives gamers a new alternative choice for an elegant white design that lits up your rig as well as boost its performance.

- Warranty and After-Sales
The new White Edition comes in two kits (2 stick and 4 sticks) with three different speed variants, the DDR4-3200, DDR4-3600 and the DDR4-4400. Each stick has a maximum of 8GB if you have a 4-slot memory, you have a maximum of 32GB for your rig. At the time of this writing, you can purchase this new stick online from Lazada for an MSRP of PHP 7,495 for a 16GB kit.
In this review, we will test the two-kit variant, the T-Force ARGB XTREEM DDR4 Gaming 16GB, 3600 MHz and see how it performs in gaming, applications for content creators and some benchmarks. Although this stick can overclock up to 4,000 MHz, this review only covers overclocking the one-click XMP 2.0 overclocking of 3,600 MHz and the stock speed 2,400 MHz.
Look and Feel
Same with the other edition, the XTREEM ARGB White Edition ships in the same box showing the new color of the stick. Anyone can easily tell it is the White Edition because it’s specifically labeled it on front.
At the back, you will find the notable feature of the new White Edition: White and Flawless morning star and Full-screen light penetrating design. As well as the performance: Premium overclocking 10-layer board, superior performance and capacity upgrade and high-quality IC.
Inside the box, you will find the beauty of the T-FORCE XTREEM ARGB White Edition safe in a clear plastic shockproof case. You will also be surprised by the blank 2nd packaging as a spacer that is reserved for the four-kit variant.
Fresh out of the box, the T-Force logo in front is surrounded with a bright matte finish, the dark lines are carved inside resulting in glossy style. At the center of the stick, it has a silver strip that has the XTREEM ARGB logo that contrasts with its white body.
On the reverse, it shows the other part of the heat-sink and the warranty sticker which shows the capacity of the card and the rated speed. This very module is 8GB DDR4 with a rated speed of 3600MHz and has a timing of 14-15-15-35 at 1.40V.
Along the top, it shows the T-FORCE word branding at the center with the same bright matte finished.
And here is how it looks like when turned on, it shows the beauty of the White Edition. Unlike the other editions that are glossy and bevel on the edge, this one has a sharper look on its corner because of the matte finish and the T-Force logo pops out.
Even with only one pair, it still looks great. The gap between the sticks showcases the luminous bright effect of the contrast given by the silver strip at the center. If you have other RGB lighting in your rig, the color also reflects into the card making it RGB as well.
We will be testing the T-Force ARGB XTREEM DDR4 Gaming 16GB in a fresh install of Windows 10 and GPU drivers. Here are the system details it will be tested:
For the benchmark, we will be using these three software:
- AIDA64 Memory Benchmark
- 7-Zip Compress and Extract Benchmark
- PassMark Performance Test Benchmark
We will be testing the XTREEM ARGB WHITE on its XMP 2.0 profile at 3,600 MHz together with its stock speed of 2,400 MHz. All other settings are set in default that comes from the XMP profile including voltage and etc.
Here is our rig showing at the CPU-Z
AIDA64 Memory Benchmark
In AIDA64, at overclock of 3,600 MHz it scores a read speed at 49,695 MB/s and write at 28,744 MB/s. While using the stock speed of 2,400 MHz it scores a read speed at 35,001 MB/s and write at 19,163 MB/s.
7-Zip Compress and Extract Benchmark
For the 7-zip benchmark, we uses a 1.4GB plaintext file with a compression method of PPMd at Ultra level. The benchmark result shows the overclock 3,600 MHz is 23 seconds faster for compression than its stock speed.
Passmark Performance Test Benchmark
Here is the run down benchmark at PCMARK 10 for both speed:
For PCMARK 10 benchmark, the overclocked @ 3,600 MHz scored at 6,860 while the stock scored at 6,527. You can also check other details of the benchmark below.
For PCMARK 10 Express benchmark, the 3,600 MHz overclock scores at 5,771 while the stock speed at 5,546. For other details, you may check the full result below.
The XTREEM ARGB Black Edition is a must for people who are looking for a minimalist and white design, the full-screen bright color enhances the overall theme setup. The performance is also top notch, we do not have some issues on our benchmark test, and it scores perfectly well. The speed of 3,600 MHz with the XMP profile that lets anyone do overclocking without having the trouble of testing out different settings is a plus.
TeamGroup offers an aesthetic solution for minimalist people combining with a performance that are currently top in the market. It even exceeded our expectations with its previous edition.
