Ragnarok X Next Generation (ROX) finally reveals their new event together with the Guild vs Guild (GvG) update they have today in the game. The new event is completely free and allows players to obtain limited-time costumes for their character. The event is called Academy Summer Vacation Event which features a lot of new objectives that can player participate, the event will only run for 11 days and will end on August 3, 2021.

In this guide, we will show you all of the details including how to complete this event to allow you to obtain all of the rewards as much as possible.
Points
In this event, you will be earning points when you complete a specific objectives. There are two types of objectives, each of these has designated reward points where you can exchange for items.
Academy Extracurricular (AE) Points – This points can be used to redeem costumes and mounts.
Academy Knowledge (AK) Points – This points can be used to redeem different packs for smelting, upgrades, enchantment and many more.
Extracurricular Event
The Extracurricular event is the daily quest where you can finish 4 types of objectives once per day. All objectives will be reset on the next day at 6:00 AM (Manila, Philippine Time). Basically, any of the following are the tasked you need to complete to earn 1 coins:

Vacation Goal
The vacation goal on the other hand is a permanent, it will not be reset on the next day, but you can complete each objective up to 6 times and the requirement will be increased. This one allows you earn more coins than the daily extracurricular event.

How to get the Rewards Faster
There are objective on this event that can easily be completed which allows you to get enough coins to redeem the rewards like the costumes and the card packs. So here’s how you can achieve it.
To redeem the costume, you need 50 x Academy Extracurricular (AE) Points. The easiest way to get these coin are the following:
- Obtain ? New Cards – Up to 42 AE Points
- Login ? Days – Up to 12 AE Points
The Login ? Days, you just need to login to the game in a number of days and you will be able to complete this objective. In total, you need to login 10 times and you can get up to 12 AE Points. A bug also circulating in social media that allows players to earn login by signing in on other mobile phone, or simply closing the app (We advised not to abuse this one).
For completing the objective Obtain ? new Cards, you need to have 10 cards to complete the whole objectives, in return, you’ll get a total of 42 AE points.
This step is not for everyone but this helps us achieve to get a total of 10 cards. We will just enumerate the steps we do:
- Use Cat Hand Corp. Coin to roll for the Card Vending Machine. Just use the lowest “Basic Card” which cost 35 card Gacha coins.
- If you don’t have one, you need to dismantle all cards that are not for your class. Use the accumulated coins to roll for Gacha. Just repeat this process until you’ll get new and good cards for your class.
- If you haven’t unlock the Reward’s Academic Progress “Card Course”, you will eventually get a FREE Cards by doing this step as well.
- Repeat this process until you get a total of 8 cards. The other 2 cards can be obtained from the other tasks. (Don’t forget to claim the rewards every time you complete the objectives. Or else the extra card you obtained will not be counted)
Once you have done those step above, the last thing to get two more cards. This is from the Academy Summer Vacation’s Goal by completing the “Participate in and complete GVG ? times”. This is a typo error, the correct objective is “Upgrading any equipment ? times”.
You need a total of 385 upgrades to get the total rewards of 88 Academy Knowledge (AK) Points for this objective.
You need tons of Lv.1 
Upgrading Materials, you need 770 to 1,540 pcs, plus 385k to 770k 
Zeny. You can purchase the cheap level 10 equipment in Izlude island from NPC Moore, it only cost around 2,000 Zeny for each weapon. You need 20 pcs of this which cost in total at around 40,000 Zeny.
Now, go to the NPC Hollgrehenn “Upgrade/Repair”, upgrade the equipment you purchase up to 20 level. (Do not forget to claim the rewards every time you complete each objectives or else the succeeding upgrade will not be counted on the next objective.)
Plus, here are the objectives that can easily be completed for getting more Academy Knowledge AK Points:
- Up to 10 times Tavern Mini games (Win or Lose) – up to 21 AK Points
- Clear up to 27 instances (Normal or Hard) – up to 21 AK Points
With those AK Points, you can now redeem the 2 x 
Old Card Album from the reward shop which cost 64 AK Points each.
