Finally, we have the official SRP price of Sony’s next-gen console, the PlayStation 5. According to DataBlitz, one of the leading game retailer in the Philippines, the official SRP price of the PS5 is at PHP 27,990 and it will be in our country on December 11, 2020.
However, Datablitz didn’t mention if the price of PHP 27,990 is for the Standard Edition or for the Digital Edition.
It is quite surprising that the initial price for the PS5 didn’t exceed our estimated price of PHP 30,000, given the additional charges for Duty and VAT when shipped out from the other country. The US price for the PlayStation 5 Standard Edition is at $499 and the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition is at $399.
Aside from this, other sources also claimed the official SRP price of PS5 accessories are the following:
