NetEase, developer of the MOBA game Marvel Super War, is set to released a new title again. The MARVEL Duel, a new mobile card game in collaboration with the Marvel Entertainment. It is a free-to-play card game that will launch its very first closed beta testing in two countries, the Philippines and Thailand starting March 19 of this year. It will be available in both Android and iOS devices.
It will feature over 150 characters from the vast Marvel universe from both sides Super Heroes and Super Villain, including the legendary super heroes like Thor, Iron Man, Captain Marvel, Spider-Man and Star-load. Each of these playable heroes has their own unique skills that can be used during the card battle game.
The MARVEL Duel will features a free deck-building system full of unique characters from its 80 years of comics. Players can customize their own deck depending on their play style and strategy; by different types of cards, character, equipment, abilities and traps.
There is also advanced deck-building system that allows player to make countless number of strategy to explore that can be used to uniquely became victorious in the match. Players can customize their heroes like Iron main applying different suits to deal in different situations, use a chain trap to lure your opponents or can use a powerful ability to make damage.
Same as the Netease previous Marvel game, MARVEL Duel will features vivid and stunning in-game visual for players to enjoy, as well as its exciting 3D multiplayer combat. Each of the card in the game is exquisitely designed with rendered 3d models to have an immersive battle experience and its 3D combat effect.
The MARVEL Duel will also has a series of fun tutorials to start their journey in the game, learn the underlying mechanics from deck building, card instruction and in-game hints for suggesting strategies.
MARVEL Duel is now open for registration and download on both Android and iOS devices. The closed beta testing is a data reset, meaning everyone will start fresh when the game is fully released. It will starts on March 19, 2020 both in Thailand and the Philippines.
