Red Dead Redemption 2 coming to PC, Expect Tons of Mods, Maybe Arthur Riding a Lamborghini?

Rockstar Games finally announced the availability of Red Dead Redemption 2 to PC, and it will be available next month, November 5, 2019. If you remember last month, Rockstar Games also releases its first game launcher that gives everyone a clue for their upcoming PC version of the Read Dead 2.

According to their announcement, the new PC version will feature a wide range of graphical and technical enhancement for increased immersion and new content added to the side-quests like Bounty Hunting Missions, Gang Hideouts, Weapons and more. On October 9, they will also release more screenshots and the system requirements for the game.

Red Dead Redemption 2 will be available to their own Rockstar Games Launcher, there is no announcement yet for the Steam version.

Pre-Order Rewards

The pre-order of the game will start on October 9 that includes a special bonus until October 22, 2019. One of the special gifts is a free two Rockstar Game titles, players can choose from the following:

  • Grand Theft Auto III
  • Grand Theft Auto: Vice City
  • Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
  • Bully: Scholarship Edition
  • LA Noire: The Complete Edition
  • Max Payne 3: The Complete Edition

The other bonus is a free upgrade to the Premium Edition of Red Dead Redemption 2, with an options to upgrade to Special Edition and Ultimate Edition for $20 less.

The in-game rewards for pre-purchase are the following:

  • Outlaw Survival Kit for Story Mode
  • War Horse for Story Mode
  • Treasure Map for Story Mode
  • Cash Bonus for Story Mode
  • 50 Gold Bars for Red Dead Online

Tons of Mods Coming to Red Dead 2

While it is a piece of good news that this exclusive title has finally arrived on PC. It is also expected that there will be tons of mods that will be coming to this game. It has lots of potentials that you can think of, maybe Arthur riding a Lamborghini car in the year 1900s? or a friendly Nemisis Dutch?

Just like the Grand Theft Auto V, and other PC titles that were released on PC, lots of mods become available on the internet. Players can download a mod that allows them to change the 3D model assets of the game, from the main character, NPC’s, cars, or even buildings.
