WordPress Added GIF to its Gutenberg Editor 7.0.1 without using Plugins

Good news to all publisher! WordPress just recently added a new feature to its Gutenberg editor, the Jetpack’s GIF. Writers can now instantly add a GIF animation to their post without the use of any third party plugins or going to GIF websites.

The update is added on the 7.0.1 version of Gutenberg, you can access it via the + button on the editor and under the Jetpack tab. A new tool is added named “GIF”.

Using the tool, you can insert the GIF and search for the picture that you’d like to add on your post. In the example below, we’ve added a GIF and search for games, here are the example GIFs a “Game Boy Pocket Printer”.
