ASUS launches its first FX series of external hard drives, that offers a variety of storage space 1TB and 2TB. What’s interesting with this new peripheral of ASUS is it is powered with Aura Sync. Meaning, its an RGB external hard drive a good addition for your RGB rigs.
The ASUS FX Series is nothing out of the ordinary external hard drive, and it is a USB 3.1 that offers up to 5Gbps of speed. The only difference of this FX Series to other competing external drive is its fancy futuristic design, it’s data encryption, and it’s bundled software.
The hardware is secured with a 256-bit AES encryption and a data compression that protects the data from opening outside the FX series micro-controller. It also uses the ASMedia 1153e to helps maximize the speed of data transfer.Â
The bundled software included on the external drive are software that allows you to back up data, mobile data, social media and cloud storage.
