There’s a new addition in Rocket Leagues, and it sets in an 80’s themed summer outing named Salty Shores. The update will be released next week May 29, 2018.
On what they call the sunniest map to date, The Salty Shores updates is a permanent addition to the game that keeps the vibes going year-round in the Rocket League arena.
It also marks the starts of the games annual league, the Competitive Season 8 and the distribution of the previous campaign’s rewards. A new ‘Impact’ crate awaits players from its launch, together with the new Battle-Car ‘Twinker’. The fresh beats from the Rocket League X Monstercat Vol.3 are also the highlight of the update seen in the trailer.
The Beach Blast in-game event will also be coming on June 11 as parts of this update. The developer Psyonix also added, “We’ll have more details about Beach Blast close to the start of the event, so stay tuned.”
Rocket League’s Salty Shores will be available on Tuesday, May 29, 2018.
