If you’re looking for a new version of Advanced Wars, a new game called Tiny Metal is already available in Steam, PS4 and Nintendo Switch and this might be the game you’re waiting for.
Advance Wars is the most popular turn-based strategy military game in Nintendo Gameboy Advanced, until now – Nintendo has no plan of developing new series for Advanced Wars and many fans really wants a new version of the game.
Well, an Indie developer are eager to make an inspirational version of it in full 3D. It’s called Tiny Metals and based on the description of Steam – it is a turn-based strategy game of intrigue with a distinct Japanese flavor that takes place in the aftermath of your king’s assassination. Roll out the tanks, create more troops, expand your squad, and struggle for territory with war-room levels of control!
In the game you will have 3 types of character that you can choose from either Nathan Gries, Wolfram and Isoroku Tsukumo. Each character has different specialty and abilities that you can use in what strategy you want in battle.
It also comes with a single campaign mode in which you can play alone with 20 hour of campaign stories. You could also choose to play online via 1 vs 1 match where you’ll be fighting other players to gain ranks. Skirmish matches are also available in the game.
