You probably find playing Black Desert Mobile way too easy because of its auto pathfinding quest. You’re bombarded with lots of information at the beginning of the game including the enhancing of equipment and armors, with these flooded tutorials it is not easy to absorb everything.

Types of Black Stones
Basically, what you need to enhance your equipment and armor are the Black Stones. Currently, there are 8 types of Black Stone that are used for specific items and have an equivalent success rate.
The Success Rate amounts depending on the current level of your weapons.

| Good Weapon Black Stone | A reddish hue black stone with purple tier. It increases the success rate to 100 folds. It is used for weapon equipment. | 100 x Success Rate |
| Grand Weapon Black Stone | A reddish hue black stone with gold tier. It increases the success rate to 200 folds. It is used for weapon equipment. | 200 x Success Rate |

Success Rate
For enhancing your gears, it requires a success rate wherein you need a Black Stone to get a higher rate. The higher the rate the lesser the chances of breaking your gears when enhancing.
When you get Failure in enhancing your gear, your previous success rate will be reset. But you still have a chance to restore the success rate by paying silver coins with a restore chance of 8% to 56%.
If successful, your gears will add a +1 to enhancement level which will basically give additional stats to your character.
For Accessories, if you got failed enhancement, all of the enhancement levels will be reset.
Where to Get More Black Stones
You can loot or get more Black Stones by the following:
- Completing Quest – Each quest has an equivalent reward, and most of these rewards includes a Black Stones.
- Daily Task and Achievements – Click the notification bell icon on the top right corner of the screen and head over to the Collect Task Rewards. There are tons of daily tasks and achievements in there to claim, and most rewards are black stones.
How to Enhance Equipment or Armor
If you forget the tutorial, here is the basic guide on how to Enhance your equipment and armor. The lowest success rate to enhance your gear is 10%, but we recommend you to have at least 90% success rate or 100% to not put your Black Stone to waste.
Click the hamburger icon on the upper right corner of the screen.
Click the Black Spirit.
Then at the right corner, click Enhancement.
Now, select the weapon or armor that you’d like to enhance.
Then select the Black Stones that you’d like to add to the success rate. Your goal is to get a Successful enhancement.
Once you’ve got the desired success rate, you can now press the Enhance button to proceed.
Voila! You get your weapon +1 enhance.
How to Enhance Accessories
To enhance the accessories, you only need an identical accessory. Once you’ve got one. You can use it to enhance the level.
But be careful, as when you reach +8 or more the success rate of getting successful enhancement will be reduced, once you’ve got a failed enhancement. All of the enhancement levels will be reset, but it will be costly when restoring the failed level. A +9 accessories restoration will cost around 48,000,000 Silver.
Is Enhancement Level can be Transfer to Other Gear?
You might be reluctant of enhancing your current gear as you though your weapon is not a late-game weapon and using Black Stones for enhancing it will be a waste.
But no worries, the Enhancement Level can be transferred to a better gear you’ll obtain in the future. This will give you peace of mind of enhancing your equipment without wasting another Black Stones.
You can do this by going to the Transfer Enhancement at the Black Spirit’s Influence menu.
The gear that you’d like to use on the top and the enhancement level you want to transfer is on the bottom.
However, Accessories Enhance level is not transferrable.
