Harvesting crops is one of the satisfying experience when playing Doraemon Story of Seasons. It is also one of the best ways to earn money in the game to upgrade Nobita’s farm and his equipment. It can also be eaten to regain stamina, sold for profits and use for cooking.
Players require to obtain seeds in order to plant crops, after the number of days to mature the crops, it can be harvested and sold to Doraemon’s stash in the farm.
However, the game has four seasons and it is recommended that the correct seed should be planted on the specific season.

How to Plant and Harvest Crop
First, you need to buy a seed from the General Store. It is open every Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Go back to Nobitas farm and plow the surface. Plant the seed and water it every day. You may also fertilize it to produce higher quality.
Wait until the day of harvest. You can sell the harvested crops to Doraemon Stash on the corner of the farm.

Spring Crops
The first season in the game is Spring, and the following crops can be planted. Other plants on the list are available on the 2nd year.

How to Get 5-Stars Quality Crop
In order for you to get the 5-star quality crop. You need the following machines and items:
- Fancy Fertilizer
- Seed Maker
- Any Seed
The Seed Maker can be purchased by unlocking the Invention Inventor.
After all of the requirements are complete, you need to grow higher quality crops from 2.5 stars to 4.0 stars. Below are the technique of getting higher stars. For example below, we used Turnip seed.
2.5-Star Crops – This is the default quality when you apply fancy fertilizer every day until you harvested it.
- Day 1 – Plant Seed, Fancy fertilizer, water
- Day 2 – Fancy fertilizer, water
- Day 3 – Fancy fertilizer, water
- Day 4 – Fancy fertilizer, water
- Day 5 – Fancy fertilizer, water
- Day 6 – water and harvest
4.0-Star Crops – To get this higher quality, you need to do the following trick. Water on the first day, add fertilizer every day and only water with a gap of 3 days until harvest.
- Day 1 – Plant Seed, Fancy fertilizer, water
- Day 2 – Fancy fertilizer
- Day 3 – Fancy fertilizer
- Day 4 – Fancy fertilizer
- Day 5 – Fancy fertilizer, water
- Day 6 – Fancy fertilizer
- Day 7 – Fancy fertilizer
- Day 8 – Water and harvest
If you have 2.5 stars or 4.0 stars crops, you can now use these crops to convert it to seed from the Seed Maker. You’ll get 3 seed plus the quality of the crops will be carryover or copied to the seeds, you’ll get 2.5 or 4.0-stars seeds after converting. Ready to plant again.
Now, plant the crops with higher stars and just do the default technique: Daily fancy fertilizer, and water. Once harvested, you’ll get 5-star quality crops.
