Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Rare Blades List Locations Guide

Looking for the best blades to use in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is the best preparation for a battle to any monster, specially fighting a high level one. Getting rare blades is a little bit difficult as you can unlock most of the blades using a common core crystal, rare core crystal or the legendary core crystal. Chances of getting a rare blade from a common core crystal is very low, even the rare core crystal. We’ve tried opening 45 pieces of core crystal and luckily we got 3 rare blades from it.

We’ve suggest you to stock a pile of common core crystal and when you reach like 40 to 50, open it and there should be 2 to 3 rare blades you get from it.

Some of these rare blades can also be get using the main story like Pyra, Poppy alpha, Brighid and more…

To help you will your struggle, here are the complete list of Rare Blades where you can obtain from through main story, core crystal or etc.

Adenine 

Can be acquired through Common Core Crystal, Rare Core Crystal or Legendary Core Crystal.

Aegaeon Blade (Chroma Katana)

Same as other blade, it has 2 type that can be purchase in shops. A Water type blade that has additional 15% Agility bonus and both is a Dessert and Art Liked type. You can equipped this for Tanker.

Agate Blade (Greataxe)

This blade can be purchase in the same location. It is a Earth type blade and has 10% Dexterity bonus, both are Drinks and Art Liked type. Best for Attacker.

Azami Blade (Ether Cannon)

This Dark type blades can be purchase in 2 shops, it ads 15% ether bonus and both are Drinks and Literature Liked type. This blades are good for Attacker.

Boreas Blade (Bitball)

This blade is available in Goldmouth and Fonsett. Boreas is for Healer and a wind type blade and has additional 15% HP bonus and both are Staple Foods and Cosmetics Liked Type.

Brighid Blade (Whipswords)

The Brighid Blade is a Fire type blade and give you 15% agility bonus, both are Desserts and Cosmetics Liked Type. This blade is good for Tanker.

Dagas Blade (Greataxe)

This blade is available in Theosoir and Torigoth. This blade is a fire type and has 10% strength bonus and a Seafood and Art Liked Type. Good for Attacker.

Dahlia Blade (Bitball)

Available in 2 different shops. The blade is for Healer and an Ice type and has 10% dexterity bonus and both are Veggies and Cosmetics Liked Type.

Dromarch Blade (Twin Rings)

The next blade is a Water type blade and gives you additional 10% ether bonus and both are Meats and Board Games Liked Type. Good for Healer.

Electra Blade (Shield Hammer)

Comes from the blades name, it is electric type and gives you 15% HP bonus and both of this blades are Meats and Instruments Liked Type. This blade is best for Tanker.

Finch Blade (Shield Hammer)

This wind type blade is good for role of a Tanker and it gives 15% Agility and both are Veggies and Cosmetics Liked Type.

Floren Blade (Bitball)

A Healer weapon and an Earth type blade which gives you 10% ether bonus and both of this blades are Veggies and Art Liked Type.

Godfrey Blade (Shield Hammer)

A weapon for Tanker and an Ice type blade. Gives 15% HP bonus and both are Meats and Instruments Liked Type.

Gorg Blade (Greataxe)

Attacker and Water type blade. It adds 15% HP bonus and both of this blade is a Desserts and Textiles Liked Type.

Herald Blade (Ether Cannon)

This Attacker blade is an electric type and it gives you 15% strength bonus. Both is a Drinks and Board Games Liked Type.

Kassandra Blade (Shield Hammer)

A Dark type blade and good for Tanker. It gives 15% HP bonus and both are Staple Foods and Board Games Liked Type.

Kora Blade (Knuckle Claws)

A electric type blade that is good for healer. It gives 10% ether bonus and both are Staple Foods and Board Game Liked Type.

KOS-MOS Blade (Ether Cannon)

A blade build for Attacker and a Light type. It gives 20% Ether bonus and both this blade are Staple Foods and Board Games Liked Type.

Mythra Blade (Aegis Sword)

A light type blade for Attacker, it gives you 10% Ether bonus. Both of this blades are Desserts and Art Liked Type.

Newt Blade (Chroma Katana)

The Newt blade is a Fire type and best for Tanker, it has 20% HP bonus and both are Meats and Instruments Liked Type.

Nia Blade (Scimitar)

A Water type blade for Healer, it has 15% HP bonus and both are Seafood and Instruments Liked Type.

Nim Blade (Knuckle Claws)

It is an Earth type blade for Healer, it grant you 10% Dexterity bonus and both are Seafood and Instruments Liked Type.

Pandoria Blade (Big Bang Edge)

An electric type blade and for Attacker, it gives you 10% strength bonus and both are Meats and Literature Liked Type.

Perceval Blade (Chroma Katana)

This blade is a Dark type and for a Tanker, it gives you 10% agility bonus and both are Drinks and Art Liked Type.

Perun Blade (Megalance)

The Perun blade is a Ice type and weapon for Attacker, it grants 10% dexterity and both are Seafood and Textiles Liked Type.

Poppi Alpha Blade (Drill Shield)

This Poppi Alpha Blade varies the type, but mostly it’s an Earth type blade and for Tanker, it adds 20% HP bonus – Both blades are Staple Foods and Instruments Liked Type.

Poppi QT Blade (Mech Arms)

This blades varies in types but commonly it is a Fire type blade and it use for Tanker, gives you 10% agility, both are Veggies and Art Liked Type.

Poppi QT Pi Blade (Variable Saber)

This blade also varies in types but the common type you’d get is an ice type blade, it is use for Attacker, adds 10% strength – both of these blades are Staple Foods and Textiles Liked Type.

Praxis Blade (Megalance)

Praxis is a water type blade and a weapon for Attacker, it gives you 10% dexterity and both are Desserts and Literature Liked Type.

Pyra Blade (Aegis Sword)

Roc Blade (Dual Scythes)

Zenobia Blade (Greataxe)

The last blade Zenobia is a Wind type blade and use for an Attacker type. It grants you 15% strength and both Meat and Literature Liked Type.
