TEAMGROUP has introduced its new ACE 8K microSDXC Memory Card, designed to deliver stable recording performance for high-resolution videos, making it a potential storage option for gaming content creators, streamers, and video production enthusiasts.
As gaming content continues to expand across platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Facebook, creators increasingly rely on high-quality cameras to produce gameplay-related videos, gaming event coverage, hardware reviews, and behind-the-scenes content. Having reliable storage is essential, especially when recording at higher resolutions and frame rates.
The TEAMGROUP ACE 8K aims to address these needs with sustained write performance designed for demanding video recording applications, including 4K footage at 120 frames per second and supported 8K recording formats.
High-Speed Performance for Content Creation
The ACE 8K microSDXC Memory Card features UHS Speed Class 3 (U3) and Video Speed Class 30 (V30) ratings, offering read speeds of up to 160 MB/s and write speeds of up to 110 MB/s.
Its V30 classification guarantees a minimum sustained write speed of 30 MB/s, helping reduce the risk of recording interruptions caused by insufficient write performance when used with compatible devices.
For gaming content creators, this can be particularly useful when filming gaming setups, recording console hardware reviews, capturing gaming events, or producing high-frame-rate footage for social media content.
TEAMGROUP also confirmed that the memory card has been tested with the DJI Avata 360 drone and DJI OSMO ACTION 6 action camera, demonstrating its intended use in high-resolution video production.
Up to 1TB of Storage Capacity
The ACE 8K will be available in capacities ranging from 128GB to 1TB, giving users several options depending on their recording requirements.
Higher-capacity storage can be especially useful for creators who regularly produce long-form gaming videos, hardware unboxings, event coverage, and other content involving large video files.
The memory card also includes protection against water, dust, shock, electrostatic discharge, X-rays, and extreme temperatures, making it suitable for content creators who frequently record outside traditional studio environments.
What About Gaming Devices?
While the ACE 8K is primarily designed for high-resolution video recording, its specifications may also appeal to gamers looking for expandable storage on compatible devices.
For example, handheld gaming systems that support microSDXC cards, such as the original Nintendo Switch and Steam Deck, use removable storage for games and other files.
However, TEAMGROUP has not announced specific gaming console compatibility or gaming performance benchmarks for the ACE 8K. Actual compatibility and performance will depend on the device and its supported memory card specifications.
The card’s advertised high read and write speeds should also not be interpreted as a guarantee of faster game loading times, since gaming devices may have their own interface speed limitations.

According to TEAMGROUP, the ACE 8K microSDXC Memory Card is scheduled for release in early November 2026, with initial availability through Amazon in North America and Japan.
