Wemade Marks Legend of YMIR’s First Anniversary with New Assassin Class, Boot Camp 2 and a Wave of Rewards

From a + 600% EXP fast-track server to Legendary Companion, rewards and comeback perks to be given out to returning players 

Rewards keep rolling from launch day through December  

Legend of YMIR has turned one, and Wemade is marking the occasion with a packed lineup for players, from a new class and a fast-track server to milestone rewards, a comeback event and check-in bonuses. The anniversary update went live October 20, and Wemade will keep rolling out new perks in stages through December.

Built on Unreal Engine 5, Legend of YMIR is an MMORPG that combines striking visuals, a world drawn from Norse mythology and massive battles. The anniversary is a thank-you to the players who have been part of the journey over the past year, and the perfect time for new and returning players to jump in and level up fast.

The new Assassin class is now available. It brings a combat style that sets it apart from every other class in the game, and with class change support, current players can take it for a spin using the characters they’ve already built.

Boot Camp Season 2, a fast-track server for new and returning players, is now open as well. It offers a +600% EXP boost up to level 65, hunting buffs and leveling support items, so players can join the action without the usual grind.

The celebration comes with plenty of rewards, too. Pre-registration topped 100,000 players, unlocking a 1st Anniversary Legendary Companion for everyone. Players who complete missions during the anniversary event can also earn a Legendary Disir and a Legendary Valkyrie.

Over on Legend of YMIR’s official regional social channels, players can join community events such as sharing anniversary messages and posting in-game screenshots, with prizes up for grabs for lucky winners. 

Wemade will launch the Einherjar Fellowship Event, an invite-a-friend event designed to bring inactive players back into the game. When current players invite inactive friends who return and complete missions, both players earn tiered rewards. Players who come back on their own can still take part in comeback missions and check-in rewards. 

In December, the Mythic Valkyrie and Disir will arrive alongside a 14-day check-in event for players who join the Boot Camp server after the anniversary event wraps up. Players will receive a Legendary Valkyrie on day 7 and a Legendary Disir on day 14, helping them reach 200,000 Combat Power in no time. 

“We wanted to thank everyone who’s been with us over the past year, so we’ve lined up rewards that run from launch day all the way through December,” said a Wemade spokesperson. “Whether you’re a longtime player, new to the game or coming back, there’s something fresh for everyone to enjoy. We’re also planning to host YMIR Cup Season 3 at the end of the year, and we hope to see plenty of players get involved.”
