Grand Theft Auto VI is finally getting a proper physical disc release. Well… technically.
Rockstar Games has announced Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, an official soundtrack featuring 34 brand-new original tracks from a wide mix of artists. Unlike the current physical edition of GTA VI, which comes as a code inside the box instead of an actual game disc, the soundtrack will be available in real physical CD and vinyl formats. So yes, GTA VI is finally getting a disc — just not the one players were probably asking for.
Six tracks are already available to stream ahead of the full album release, including Yung Lean’s “That’s It” featuring Future and Metro Boomin, Travis Scott’s “RHYNO,” CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso’s “Sexy Magic” with PinkPantheress, Fred again.. and Etienne de Crécy, Morgan Wallen’s “Last Thing You Need,” Rauw Alejandro’s “Macacoa 2000,” and Keith Richards’ “Bright Lights, Big City.”
Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album will launch on November 19 alongside the game, with multiple vinyl and CD editions available to pre-order from select retailers. Until Rockstar decides to put the actual game on a disc, collectors will at least have something GTA VI-related they can finally slide into a disc player.
