Tekken 8 is bringing in one of anime’s most intimidating fighters, as Yujiro Hanma from Baki has been officially revealed as a guest character for the game’s roster.
Known in the series as the “Strongest Creature on Earth,” Yujiro is the father of Baki Hanma and one of the most feared martial artists in the franchise. His arrival makes him a surprisingly fitting pick for Tekken, a series already built around brutal hand-to-hand combat, intense rivalries, and larger-than-life fighters.
The teaser confirmed Yujiro as part of Tekken 8’s additional character lineup, with reports noting that he is expected to arrive in early 2027. No full gameplay footage has been shown yet, so fans are still waiting to see how Bandai Namco will translate his overwhelming strength, wild fighting style, and iconic Baki presence into Tekken’s 3D arena combat.
