In a move to honor its most active player base, Wemade has announced the upcoming launch of the ‘Manila’ city server on March 10, alongside a specialized content roadmap tailored specifically for Filipino users.
Launch of the New ‘Manila’ City Server
As part of Legend of YMIR’s unique infrastructure featuring servers named after iconic global cities, the ‘Manila’ server will officially go live on March 10. This marks the first time a Philippine city has been integrated into the game’s server network—a strategic decision reflecting the Philippines’ status as a premier hub for player engagement. To coincide with the launch, Wemade plans to ramp up localized support and marketing initiatives to enhance the gameplay experience for the region.
Bringing Local Legends to Life: ‘Bakunawa’ and ‘Solis’
Wemade is currently developing exclusive in-game elements featuring iconic Philippine symbols to provide a more familiar and engaging experience for local players.
- New Disir ‘Bakunawa’: This new Disir is being designed based on the legendary sea serpent of Philippine mythology, crafted to embody the creature’s majestic and powerful presence.
- New Companion ‘Solis’: A new companion modeled after the national bird of the Philippines is also in development. This addition aims to offer local players a unique sense of representation and high collectible value.
Strengthening Community Ties: Offline Events and Strategic Partnerships
Wemade is taking its engagement beyond the digital realm by hosting an offline community event in Manila this March. The gathering will serve as a platform for players to connect, share feedback, and celebrate their experiences together.
