Getting an Epic Valkyrie or Epic Disir in Legend of Ymir is one of the hardest goals early on, as the chances of summoning one through normal pulls are extremely low. Many players end up spending thousands of pesos without success. But the good news is, there’s a guaranteed way to get an Epic-tier summon, if you know how the system works.

Here’s how it really works and how you can secure your first Epic Valkyrie or Disir.
Paid Guaranteed of Summoning Epic Valkyrie / Disir
In the Summoning menu, you’ll find a section called “Complete All Summon Rewards” with milestones listed as 40 → 50 → 60 → 90.
At first, it may seem like you’ll get an Epic after reaching 90 pulls — but that’s not the case. The system resets after each milestone. That means:
- After reaching 40 summons, it resets back to 0.
- After another 50 summons, it resets again.
- Then 60, and finally 90 — before the cycle completes.
To actually reach the guaranteed Epic reward, you need to add all milestones together: 40 + 50 + 60 + 90 = 240 summons total. Only after completing 240 total pulls will you receive a guaranteed Epic Valkyrie or Epic Disir.
How Much Does It Cost?
If you plan to achieve this through paid summons, expect to spend roughly ₱4,000 to ₱5,000 PHP in total (depending on event bonuses and summon bundles available). I recommend waiting for a good bundle offer — these pop-ups appear as you level up, complete missions, or enchant equipment (especially when you fail an enchant). They usually give great value, such as 44 summons for $9.99 or 22 summons for $4.99, making them the most cost-effective way to stock up on summon cards.
Yes, it’s expensive, but it’s the only guaranteed method through paid summoning.
The Free Way: Epic Qualification Quest (F2P)
If you don’t want to spend real money, there’s still hope. You can earn an Epic Valkyrie for free by completing the Epic Qualification Quest in-game.
This questline includes long-term progression goals such as:
- Reaching Level 50
- Discovering all Viewpoints across the map
- Artifact’s Essence Stage 5 and many more…
Completing these requirements will reward you with an Epic Valkyrie, no luck or spending required.

The Easiest Method: Garnet Epic Valkyrie / Disir Crafting
When you perform Valkyrie summons, each pull rewards you with Garnets, a special crafting material. These Garnets can be used to craft a Noble [E] Valkyrie Card or Noble [E] Disir Card. The crafting success rate is 20%, offering a much higher chance of obtaining an Epic compared to random summons. Each attempt costs 200 Garnets, and although this method isn’t free, it ensures that your summons don’t go to waste — every pull contributes toward your progress. You can also craft these items once per week, giving you a steady path toward your guaranteed Epic Valkyrie or Disir.

Valkyrie Epic Confirm or Replace
When you obtain an Epic Valkyrie or Disir, it won’t automatically appear in your inventory. Instead, it will be placed in the Confirm tab, where you’ll have the option to either confirm or replace the unit.
If you’re satisfied with the Valkyrie or Disir you received, simply confirm it, this will permanently add it to your Valkyrie inventory. However, if the unit isn’t the class or type you want, you can choose to replace it, though doing so will consume additional Diamonds. This feature gives you one final chance to decide whether to keep or reroll your newly acquired Epic before finalizing it.
Same of Rules for getting Epic Disir
The same rule applies to unlocking an Epic Disir, you can obtain it either through completing specific milestone pulls or finishing the Epic Disir Qualification Quest.
If you’re just starting out, focus first on leveling up and exploring to complete the Epic Qualification Quest, it’s the best way to secure your first Epic character without spending a cent. Paid summoning should only be your route if you’re aiming for multiple Epic units faster.
