In Legend of Ymir, there are a total of 65 Viewpoints scattered across the world—each offering breathtaking scenery, exploration progress, and free rewards. Unlocking all of them is essential if you want to earn the Epic Qualification, which grants a free Epic Valkyrie as part of your journey.

This guide will help you locate every Viewpoint in the game so you can complete your collection faster and enjoy the hidden beauty of Ymir’s vast landscapes.

What Are Viewpoints?

Viewpoints are scenic landmarks marked by golden glowing “Bird Stand”. When you get close enough, your air pet (bird) will automatically perch on it, and when you hold and press the icon above it – it will trigger a panoramic scene of the area.

Each Viewpoint represents a unique part of the world’s lore and environment. Activating them not only rewards you with resources and EXP, but also contributes to your exploration progress across each region.

How to Find Viewpoints

You can find Viewpoints across all regions of Legend of Ymir. Each map usually contains one to six locations, and some can be discovered naturally through main or side quests. However, many are hidden in hard-to-reach areas, such as mountain peaks, cliffs, or ruins that require extra exploration effort.

Keep an eye out for the golden glow or bird icon on your minimap — these are subtle indicators that a Viewpoint is nearby.

All 65 Viewpoint Locations

Below is the complete list of all known Viewpoints in Legend of Ymir, organized by map region. Unlocking all 65 will complete your exploration milestones and unlock the Epic Qualification reward.

Asgard Castle (4 Viewpoints)

Location	Guide
Asgard Inner Circle	Make your way to Asgard’s bridge at the center of the map; the Viewpoint can be found along the path.
Exercising Ground	Enter the military camp and you’ll notice NPCs training nearby. Move toward the front-left side, near the tree and tent, the Viewpoint is there.
Ravens’ Hall	You can find it near the Water Mill, left side corner of Raven’s hall at the small garden.
Forge	Look for a narrow passage at the bottom-left corner of the area; the Viewpoint is located near NPCs Arto and Evelyn.

Asgard Castle, Utangard (5 Viewpoints)

Location	Guide
Hall of Hogni	Enter the big hall and head left. The Viewpoint is located in the far-left corner of the area.
Ruined Plaza	Look for the wrecked pond nearby, the Viewpoint is located right around it.
Black Market	Go through the market’s narrow alley, the Viewpoint can be found along the pathway ahead.
Market Alley	Head through the narrow alley market, the Viewpoint is located at the far end, in the last corner
Hermit’s Quarter	Before reaching the entrance, check the small hut on the left corner, the Viewpoint is inside.

Hermod’s Crossroads (6 Viewpoints)

Location	Guide
Hermod’s Altar	Close to the Stone Altar and before the back entrance to Glasir Forest, the Viewpoint is on a low rock ledge.
Crossroads Village	You’ll come across the Viewpoint right along the roadside.
Temporary Camp	Before the entrance bridge of the altar-like mountain, you’ll find the Viewpoint on the right corner near the flowing water canal.
Asgard Castle Exterior	At the top of the Altar, you’ll find the Viewpoint right on the edge.
Windy Dock	The Viewpoint is at the center of the bridge near the dock.
Troll’s Tomb Entrance	Just before the entrance to the Tomb Cave, you’ll find a small pond lake nearby — the Viewpoint is right at the corner.

Aegir’s Cliff (2 Viewpoints)

Location	Guide
Aegir’s Fall	Find the only water fall in the area, and the Viewpoint should be in the cliff.
Aegir’s Stone Statue	At the scenic ocean view facing the Stone Statue and the island cliff, the Viewpoint is located right at the edge of the cliff.

Hill of Bitfrost (2 Viewpoints)

Triskelion Uppsala	Inside the camp entrance, the Viewpoint is on your right.
Bifrost Altar	Just before the stairs leading to the Altar, the Viewpoint is located on the right.

Idun’s Vale (5 Viewpoints)

Location	Guide
Giant Stone Statue of Aesir	You’ll find the Viewpoint at the very top of the hill, offering a wide view of the Giant Stone Statue and the Altar.
Guardian’s Home	At the village hilltop, the Viewpoint is just past the entrance, near a clothesline.
Idun’s Village	Hidden midway along the mountain, you’ll find it on a rocky ledge you can stand on, and it offers view of the village.
Mystical Tree of the Vale	You’ll find it hidden behind a tree near the crossing that leads toward the Mystical Tree.
Golden Apple Tree	At the base of the stairs to the Golden Apple Tree.

Troll’s Tomb 1F (4 Viewpoints)

Location	Guide
Troll’s Tomb	Just before the portal, you’ll find it along the path on the right side.
Troll’s Quarters	Inside the Troll’s Quarter Camp, it’s located at the left corner.
Troll’s Idol	It’s right at the corner of the altar.
Archpriest’s Stele	After you jump off the cliff, you’ll find it at the entrance of the cave opening.

Troll’s Tomb 2F (4 Viewpoints)

Location	Guide
Troll’s Stone Coffin	Just at the other side of the coffin.
Aesir Mountains	Inside the cave, when you reach the opening where the sky is visible, you’ll find it at the cliff’s center edge.
Troll’s Treasure Vault	On the stairs leading to the giant skeletal skull, it’s located midway along the steps.
Nameless Altar	Easily spotted in front of the altar.

Troll’s Ruins Lower Floor (3 Viewpoints)

Warrior’s Quarters	Climb to the top of the elevated ground overlooking the quarters to find the Viewpoint
Troll’s Resting Place	On the hilltop beside the wooden bridge, you’ll find the Viewpoint.
Troll’s Altar	Just at the side corner of the Altar

Troll’s Ruins Upper Floor (4 Viewpoints)

Location	Guide
Troll’s Altar	Through the crumbled wall opening near the Altar, you’ll spot the Viewpoint.
Grave Robbing Site	Climb up the rocky slope near the wooden stairs and the guard tower to find the Viewpoint.
Ruler of Ancient Trolls	Jump off the broken bridge leading to the Troll’s fortress, the one with the troll-shaped face and mouth as its entrance, you’ll find it before the stair.
Ancient Troll’s Castle	Below the broken wall, on the walkable path, you’ll find the Viewpoint.

Troll’s Ruins, Hidden Cliff Path (1 Viewpoints)

Location	Guide
Ancient Bridge	After crossing the narrow bridges, look to the corner of the bridge path, you’ll find the Viewpoint there.

Glasir Forest (5 Viewpoints)

Location	Guide
Labyrinth Outer Wall	At the Outer Wall, there’s a large snowy boulder. Just behind it, you’ll find the Viewpoint.
Glasir Forest View	From the camp, head outside and follow the path leading up the mountain above it. The Viewpoint is at the top.
Mystical Pond	At the corner of the pond, you’ll find the Viewpoint.
Jotunn’s Fortress	On the way to the Fortress, right in the middle of the wooden bridge, you’ll find the Viewpoint.
Resident’s Quarters	Behind the camp, there’s a tower and a path leading further back. Follow it to the open plain overlooking the Fortress, the Viewpoint is there.

Glasir Forest, Mount Aesir (2 Viewpoints)

Location	Guide
Mount Aesir Scenic View	After jumping onto the narrow rocky cliff, the Viewpoint is located on the plain cliff area, either at the start or the end of it.
Shabby Watch Post	There are several wooden stairs, at the farthest corner, you’ll find a small plain area and an outpost. The Viewpoint is just below the stairs leading upward.

Glasir Forest, White Wolf Valley (2 Viewpoints)

Location	Guide
Snow-Covered Wolf	On the cliffside, head up the steep snowy cliff, the Viewpoint is at the middle-top section of the narrow ridge.
Narrow Cave	The Viewpoint is on top of the broken rocky arch at the top right of the map.

Utgard Fortress 1F (2 Viewpoints)

Location	Guide
Combat Plaza	There are two twin towers connected by a wooden bridge. The Viewpoint is on the tower with wooden stairs, right at its entrance.
Jotunn’s Symbol	TThis one’s a bit tricky, you’ll need to find a way to reach the second floor of the wooden building. Look for a spot where you can jump across to get there.

Utgard Fortress 2F (3 Viewpoints)

Location	Guide
Hrungnir Wooden Statue	Below the wooden statue, the Viewpoint is just on its side.
Collapsed Commodity Warehouse	After entering the camp, it is just at the corner near the entrance.
Jotunn’s Exercising Ground	Like the other Viewpoints, this one is at the corner of the camp near the entrance.

Utgard Fortress 3F (3 Viewpoints)

Location	Guide
Fortress 3F Structure	This one’s quite tricky, you’ll need to find a way to reach the huge, high bridges. There’s a snowy cliff at the bottom-left corner of the map that you can use to jump off and glide (lypta) toward them
Distant Sky Aurora	Another tricky one. The Viewpoint is at the highest walkable part of the tower.
Utgard Fortress 3F	In the arena, behind the old wooden stairs at the lower-left portion from the map, you’ll find the Viewpoint.

Vale of Ragnarok (4 Viewpoints)

Location	Guide
Golden Apple Tree	At the Golden Apple Trees entrance before the ladder.
Destroyed Stone Statue	This is in the top of the mountain fronting the destroyed Stone Statue, at the sky you’ll see the Eye of the Ragnarok.
Defiled Mystical Tree	An uphill corner near the Mystical tree, you’ll find the Viewpoint.
Harbinger Remnants	Uphill the destroyed village near the bridge, you’ll find the Viewpoint
