Hello Kitty and Friends: Freeze Tag Party Brings Co-Op Tag Fun to Switch

Hello Kitty and Friends: Freeze Tag Party, a co-op tag game featuring adorable Sanrio characters, is heading to Nintendo Switch on November 6, 2025. The game is being published by Nighthawk Interactive and developed by Imagineer.

Co-Op Tag With a Sanrio Twist

At its heart, Freeze Tag Party is a playful spin on the classic game of tag. Players team up with or against their friends as they take on the roles of Challengers (runners) or Hunters (chasers), all while stepping into the shoes of Sanrio’s most beloved characters. From Hello Kitty and Cinnamoroll to Kuromi and Pompompurin, each of the 35+ characters comes with their own magical abilities, animations, and plenty of cuteness.

Six Challengers must dodge and dash to survive until time runs out, while two Hunters do everything they can to freeze them. Matches are chaotic, charming, and perfect for friends and families looking for lighthearted fun. The game supports local and split-screen co-op, making it a natural fit for party play.
