Moonlit Party Event Guide in Ragnarok X: Next Generation (ROX)

Step into the magical ambiance of the “Moonlit Party” in Ragnarok X: Next Generation (ROX)! This year’s event continues the previous Blazing Party event where you can gather ingredients, cooking, and trading, but with some exciting new rewards and costumes to obtain. As always, players will craft the famous Hundred-Flavor Kebabs to earn Fun Party Coins, which can be exchanged for rare in-game items, including this year’s new Mid-Autumn-themed headgear, effects, and more.

In this article, we’ll provide a comprehensive guide to the Moonlit Party Event, offering tips to maximize your rewards, and analyze if the event is friendly for free-to-play players or leans towards pay-to-win dynamics.

The whole event will run starting today, September 11 up to September 25, 2024. The claiming of rewards however will end up to September 27, 2024.

What You’ll Get in This Event

Just like last year, the Moonlit Party revolves around cooking and trading activities. Here are the new rewards available this year:

The Bunny Lantern can be obtained by cooking Kebab and sell it in higher price to get a coin. You can exchange it at the event NPC for 4,000 Fun Party Coin.
Palace Bloom (Headgear) Moonlit Jade Tree (Female) (Costume Outfit) Bunny Lantern (Back)	The  Palace Bloon can be obtained with free-to-play quest by completing the cumulative quest in Flavor Trial at 400 Points. The Moonlit Jade Tree (Female) can be obtained by cooking Kebab and sell it in higher price to get a coin. You can exchange it at the event NPC for 5,000 Fun Party Coin. The Bunny Lantern can be obtained by cooking Kebab and sell it in higher price to get a coin. You can exchange it at the event NPC for 4,000 Fun Party Coin.
Reunion Swing (Mount)	The  Reunion Swing can be obtained by completing the cumulative quest in Flavor Trial at 1,200 Points. However, it is locked behind paywall as you need to spend money to get the mount. You can also get it by releasing a lantern, either a permanent or 3-day temporary mount.
Bountiful and Fulfilled (Aura Effect)	The  Bountiful and Fulfilled can be obtained at the Flavor Trial at 800 Points.
Moon Scent (Wake Effect)	The Moon Scent can be obtained by cooking Kebab and sell it in higher price to get a coin. You can exchange it at the event NPC for 3,800 Fun Party Coin.
Lunar Dreamscape (Teleport Effect)	The Lunar Dreamscape can be obtained by cooking Kebab and sell it in higher price to get a coin. You can exchange it at the event NPC for 5,500 Fun Party Coin.
Ruyi Toad Pet Cage (Pet)	Pet-Exclusive Talent: Ruyi Toad (Lv.1) – Increases allied unit’s Debuff Resistance and MSPD while providing a shield. You can get the  Ruyi Toad Pet Cage (Not Bound) by chances when releasing the lantern at random location. You can get a lantern daily by burning Odin Blessings.

Event 1: Roasted Kebab

At the Roasted Kebab event, you will need to gather materials from in-game activities, like eliminating monsters, to cook various dishes. Crafting the Hundred-Flavor Kebab remains the central task.

Event 2: Festive Night Market

Just like last year, after crafting your dishes, sell them at the Festive Night Market. You’ll earn Fun Party Coins by trading with friends, guildmates, or other adventurers. Players need to input the UID of potential buyers to tap into a larger market.

Note: The UID market will reset daily. Prices are competitive, so aim for selling each Kebab at 90 Fun Party Coins or more for maximum profit.

Event 3: Flavor Trial (Daily and Cumulative Quests)

The Flavor Trial consists of daily and cumulative quests that help you accumulate Ratings and Chef’s Points, which are crucial for reaching reward milestones. The cumulative quest rewards have been updated for the Moonlit Party:

Event 4: Journey of Fresh Tastes

Similar to the previous event, sending pets on adventures or using Odin’s Blessings to gather event materials is another way to obtain essential ingredients. Make sure to always match the pet given to maxed out the rewards you’ll get per day.

Using Odin’s Blessings while fighting monsters continues to be a viable way to collect event materials. Keep in mind the chances of obtaining specific items when using Odin’s Blessing to optimize your farming strategy.
