The new Dark Lord class has finally arrived in MU Monarch! If you’re considering changing to this class, whether out of curiosity or because of its power, you’re in for an exciting journey. The Dark Lord boasts strong Area of Effect (AOE) skills with short cooldowns and wider attack range, making it a formidable choice. But before making the switch, let’s look at what this change entails.
To switch to the Dark Lord class, you need a Class Change Card and a 2.5-Gen Wing Class Change Item. These can be obtained from the Dark Lord event or used if you already have them.
Does Switching to Dark Lord Transfer All Gear Progress?
All your stats, including Enhancements and Boosts, can be transferred to the new class. This requires manually transferring your original gear to the new Dark Lord gear. It will only cost gold for transfer.
For wings using the 2.5-Gen Wing Class Change Item, you must select the Monarch Cloak, which is specific to the Dark Lord. Choosing the wrong wings will result in a wasted Wing Class Change.
Can Gear be Changed to Dark Lord Gear?
Unfortunately, gear cannot be changed to Dark Lord gear unless you acquire the specific items from the Dark Lord event.
You can obtain new gear by purchasing it from the trading hall or looting it from bosses.
Should I Choose STR or ENG?
Your choice between STR (Strength) and ENG (Energy) depends on your preferred playstyle. STR is recommended for those seeking powerful attacks, while ENG is better suited for players who want a more tanky build but lesser attack.
What are the Dark Lord’s Skills?
The Dark Lord class has a set of skills that include both basic and ultimate abilities:

What are the New Items?
The Dark Lord class introduces new gear, including an off-hand weapon called the Skyhawk, which boosts Physical ATK damage, and an Orb, which serves as a second weapon for transferring stats from your previous one-hand weapon.
Additionally, you can acquire a new mount, the Blacklord Horse, which can be used in combat. Below are the stats of this new mount.
