Valentine’s Day is over, but Ragnarok X Next Generation (Hyper Return) releases the long-overdue event White Valentine’s Day, a yearly event in the game wherein adventurers can partner with each other and participate in various activities to earn exclusive rewards.

Event 1: Soulmate Test (Finding Partner Event)
The partner event is now different from previous events. This time, you and your partner must answer the same answers to questions given by the test. The test is composed of 5 trivial questions about your partner. However, if you are partnered with a complete stranger and do not know anything about them, there is a trick to get a perfect score.
To start this event, you need to find a partner by partying up. Only 1 partner is needed, and there are no special conditions; any stranger can be your partner.
Next, the party leader must go to the <Pure White Love Song> Event NPC, Mirabelle at the Prontera Cathedral, located in the upper right corner of Prontera. or simply, clicking the “Take Part Now” button on the Pure White Love Song > Soulmate Test.
Talk to the NPC and click Soulmate Test. This will open up the test, and you and your partner will be ready to answer questions.
To answer all 5 questions correctly and get a Soulmate Rate of 100%, both you and your partner must select the 1st answer (the top choice) for each question. This ensures that you and your partner have the same answers.
If you follow our guide correctly and get a Soulmate Rate of 100%, you’ll receive the following rewards:

Event 2: Couple in Pairs (Solo or Pair Quest Event)
The next main event is the daily and accumulated quest event, which can be completed solo or in pairs. By completing solo quests, you can earn a costume outfit called Snow Feather Heart. In addition, by completing quests in pairs, you can earn extra rewards by accumulating Pair Affection points and obtain separate rewards like the new mount, Swan Dream.
Solo Affection Rewards
For solo affection rewards, the points you earn by completing quests are yours alone. There are 5 rewards you can get when you accumulate affection points:

Unfortunately, similar to the previous Valentine’s event, the costume and mount in this year’s Pure White Love Song event are locked behind a paywall. To obtain the Snow Feather Heart costume, you need to top up at least PHP 5,590 to get a total affection score of 25,360, in addition to completing all the free-to-play quests, including dailies, and performing a Diamond Exchange Center transaction of at least 20,000 Diamonds.
For the Pairing Affection rewards, both you and your partner must top up PHP 5,590 separately to get the extra rewards, as the quest progress is not accumulated between you and your partner. This means that to obtain all the pair rewards, including the Swan Dream mount, you and your partner must spend a total of PHP 11,180.
While it is still possible to participate in the event and enjoy some of its features without spending real money, obtaining the most sought-after rewards, such as the costume and mount, requires a significant investment. This may be disappointing for players who were hoping for a more free-to-play friendly event.
Event 3: Paper Crane Love
For this event, you don’t need to party up to complete it, but you still need to find an adventurer partner who has eaten a different Jar Cookie from you, and perform the social action “Cheers” near them.
To do this, you and your partner must eat opposite Jar Cookies. One of you must eat Golden Jar Cookies, while the other must eat Silver Jar Cookies. You’ll know the cookies are different if the heart icons above your heads are colored gold or silver.
- Gold Heart – Golden Jar Cookies
- Silver Heart – Silver Jar Cookies
When you have different colored hearts above your heads, stand close together and perform the social action “Cheers” to receive random rewards.
To guarantee receiving a Pink Paper Crane, any partner that has above 520 affection points has a guaranteed chance of getting Pink Paper Crane for the first 3 attempts.
However, there are limits on it and here are the total rewards that you can get:

Event 4: Material Exchange Event
After completing most of the activities in the event, the items you collected can be exchanged for another costume outfit and progress materials.
Are you able to get the Dark Feather Romance costume? Well, the daily Pink Paper Crane you can get each day is up to 14 x Pink Paper Crane. If you multiply that by the 7-day event duration, you will only accumulate 98 x Pink Paper Crane, which means you are short 52 x Pink Paper Crane to get the outfit. The remaining Pink Paper Crane can be obtained through the top-up shop, which costs PHP 299 for a pack of 15 pieces.
To acquire the Dark Feather Romance costume, you will need a total of 150 Pink Paper Cranes. Even if you participate in the event daily and earn the maximum number of Pink Paper Cranes, you will still need to purchase 4 packs from the top-up Pack Collection, totaling PHP 1,196, to get the additional 52 Pink Paper Cranes required for the costume. You may also purchase Pink Paper Crane from the Exchange Center; however, this option is less reliable as only 2 unbound pieces of this are obtainable per day for each adventurer making it super rare.
