Ragnarok X: Hyper Return, previously known as Ragnarok X: Next Generation, has added a new feature called the Home system. Now, players can create their own camps or neighborhoods in the game. You can make furniture, decorate your place, and even invite other players over. This new area isn’t just for show – you can also collect resources like minerals, fish, and other items while you’re there.
In this guide, we’ll give you a comprehensive overview of what to do in Ragnarok X’s new Home system, including daily tasks, rewards you’ll get, and tips for improving your Home.
Tutorial Quest
If you are stuck in the initial tutorial quest such as the Home’s Mine and Craftsman Rony where you need to discover a Raw Stone Ore Vein and Normal Ore Vein and unable to level up your home.
To fix that, if you encounter a pop-up message saying, “Ore Vein Discovered”, you need to click the Explore Again until the required Normal Ore Vein appears, once you have that, click the confirm button.
How to Teleport to Your Home from Anywhere
The usual way on teleporting to your home is by talking to the NPC Ronald at the Prontera Square. To easily teleport to your home from any location, you need to use the item that Ronald gifted to you, the Paper Crane Homecaller.
Item | Description |
Paper Crane Homecaller | Ronald’s gift to all estate owners. This magical paper crane allows the user to teleport into their Home instantly. Unlimited use |
The good news is you can use this as many times as you want and won’t be gone from your bag pack. You may also put this on your quick use slot for easy navigation.
Home Stamina or VIG
The Home Vig color purple you see on the upper left corner of the screen when you are inside on your homestead, that is the stamina you can use to mine, fish and crops. This VIG is actually your character’s Stamina, and it is not a separate stamina system, so basically you still need Odin Blessing to fill that up.
Home
Your home in Ragnarok X is like a profile picture, customizable for bragging to friends. It doesn’t boost stats, but the level of your home affects mining, fishing, and farming activities. More upgrades mean more materials that you can get like from gardening, mining and fishing. Basically, the home doesn’t directly affect character stats, except for extra materials.
To decorate your home, you need a furniture where you can craft it from the Craftsman’s Cottage, NPC named Rony. Though, the blueprint to craft this furniture is for now impossible to obtained aside from the initial mission where you can get a free simple bed.
Once you have the furniture, you can enter your home and starts decorating.

However, it’s not clear yet where to find the blueprints for the furniture. But there is a free one which is the single bed where you can get it free by completing the initial quest. Farmland – Sow (Get Extra Gardening Materials)
Your homestead in Ragnarok X also has farmland where you can grow crops for extra materials. Here’s how it works:
- Planting Seeds: Go to the farmland and tap ‘Sow’ to pick the seeds you want to plant. You can only plant seeds that match or are below your Gardening Level.
- Crop Growth Phases: Crops grow through five stages: Seed, Sprout, Seedling, Bloom, and Fruit. Each phase has a timer showing how long until it moves to the next stage. When crops are in the Seedling phase, you need to water them once to move them to the Bloom phase. If you don’t water them, they’ll stay in the Seedling phase and won’t grow.
- Using Pets for Farming: If you have a pet, you can assign it to take care of the farmland. The pet will water the crops for you.
- Harvesting Crops: You can harvest the crops when they reach the Fruit Phase. The yield depends on the seeds you planted. You’ll get at least 15 and up to 30 crops from each seed for life materials, and 2 to 5 crops from each seed for home materials.
- Soil Fertility: An NPC named Skylie checks the soil’s fertility. Fertile soil means more crops when you harvest. You can use
Estate Fertilizer to make the soil more fertile where you can purchase it from NPC Ronald for 10,000 Crystals. - Fertility Points: When harvesting, you need at least 2 fertility points for each crop lot to get a bonus yield. If the soil isn’t fertile enough, you won’t get extra crops.
To grow crops, you need to plant seeds that match the type of crop you want. Different crops grow from different seeds. Make sure to plant your seeds where you want a gardening material you need, also though you plant specific seed, a small random of furniture crops materials will still drop; Here are some seeds you can use:

Fishpond – Release Fingerlings (Get Extra Fishing Materials)
Your homestead will have a pond where you can grow fish. This is different from normal fishing in the game. Here’s how it works:
- Growing Fish: You start by putting baby fish, called fingerlings, in your pond. These fish take time to grow. To make them grow faster, you feed them Growth Bait.
- Monitoring Growth: An NPC named Peierls keeps an eye on your fish. When they reach a certain size, you can catch them.
- Harvesting: You can only harvest the fish when they’re fully grown. It’s best to let them grow to their maximum size before catching them. You get between 10 to 15 fish from each group of fingerlings.
- Using Pets: If you have a pet, you can assign it to the pond. The pet will feed the fish for you, helping them grow faster. Remember, you can’t add more food until the current batch is finished.
Mineral Resources – Mining Ore Veins (Get Extra Mining Materials)
Mining in your homestead is much straightforward:
- Find Ore Veins: Look for places in the game where you can mine.
- Use Stamina Points: Mining requires Stamina Points.
- Wait for Completion: Once you start mining, just wait until it’s done.
- Collect Materials: After mining is complete, you’ll get materials.
- Repeat: You can do this process over and over whenever you want to mine more.
Homeshop – Supply and Furniture Store
You can find everything you need for your homestead from the NPC Ronald, who is located right in front of your home. At Ronald’s place, you can buy various supplies for fishing, crafting, and growing crops.
