Gaming fans in Southeast Asia, get ready to experience an event like never before! NoizuCon 2023, touted as the industry’s largest game festival, is all set to take place this September at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) in Malaysia, and it promises to be a spectacle for gamers, developers, and enthusiasts alike. This year, the excitement is off the charts, with an incredible lineup of activities and opportunities.

Why NoizuCon 2023 is the Must-Attend Event of the Year?

Once known as serverDNA, NoizuCon has evolved over the past seven years into the most significant series of gatherings for gamers and eSports enthusiasts across Malaysia. The mission has remained constant: To continually outdo itself by delivering an experience that’s bigger and better than the previous year, and by offering unforgettable experiences and tremendous value to the gaming communities.

For NoizuCon 2023, expect more than 10,000 participants, over 100 content creators, and a whopping 250k RM in giveaways. Attendees will find a range of activities to capture their interests—from showcases of indie games and developer insights to animations. Get ready to be wowed by industry leaders like Mechamato Movie, Les Copaque Production, Warnakala Studios, and many more.

More Than Just a Gaming Event

This year, NoizuCon 2023 is elevating the experience by collaborating with MYDCF (Malaysia Digital Creator Festival) by MDEC. Occupying three floors at the KLCC, this massive festival will feature prestigious events like LevelUp KL, which will host the SEA Game Awards, and Kre8tif, spotlighting local animations. The event will also feature an impressive roster of participating exhibitors, including industry luminaries like Monsta, Warnakala Studios, Animasia, RAWR Pictures, and PlayStation Studios, among others.

It will also feature a diverse array of attractions tailored for a wide audience. V-Idol Season 3 will be hosted by Comfy and Medibeats Productions and is supported by VTube Studio and Giga Creative.

Toshiba TV Malaysia, a global leader in vision technology and innovation, is not only a major sponsor but is also causing a seismic shift in the gaming and entertainment realm. They’ll even be giving away a 55″ TV to lucky attendees. Predator, a renowned gaming brand, makes a grand return to NoizuCon, promising intense competitive action that fans won’t want to miss with Predator League.

In media, Animax Asia + GEM steps in as NoizuCon’s official media partner and will feature a dedicated booth at the event.

But that’s not all! The cosplay community will be dazzled by two prestigious competitions: the World Cosplay Summit and CureCosplay Runway. Winners of these events will have the honor of representing Malaysia at international stages in Nagoya and Chiba, Japan.

Attendees also have the opportunity to snag exclusive, event-only limited edition merchandise, not to mention the massive giveaways set for the annual mousepad party.

Musically, the event is a feast for the ears. Friday will showcase a rock concert featuring top game and pop culture bands. The closing on Sunday will be nothing short of spectacular, graced by a 40-man gaming and anisong orchestra by RFBxOrchestra, which includes a tribute to the popular series, Attack on Titan.

And let’s not forget the global reach of NoizuCon 2023. The event will host more than 100 content creators from around the world, including SEA’s favorite Japanese streamer, Xiinya, and Gaming Cosplay Star, Yuji Koi.

Reflecting on its past success, last year’s NoizuCon gathered more than 4,000 distinct attendees, of whom an impressive 89% were baby zoomers and 65% showed active engagement through QR code scanning. These statistics emphasize the event’s undeniable magnetism for a young and technologically engaged crowd.
