In celebration of the 2nd anniversary of Ragnarok X: Next Generation, the game has officially announced a new event—The Night Club Party. This in-game event invites adventurers into a liquor party challenge where your character will be drunk – set in the Rose Red Tavern in Prontera. The event will start today June 17 and will end July 1, 2023.

Event 2 – Drink Up Challenge
The next event is the Drink Up Challenge where you can randomly challenge adventurer for a Drink Up battle.
To activate this, just like doing the “Arm Wrestling”, you need to go to any Tavern in major cities and stand near the table and click the Mini Game, then select the new button DrinkUp.
The mechanics of the game is simple, the player who didn’t get drunk (Reached 200 drunk level) wins the rounds or whoever got the highest Drunk Level wins (Not through how many glasses – so it is important to keep track of opponent’s drunk level through our chat above).
During the rounds, players have 4 choices to make:
Round Choices | Description |
Refill | The Refill option allows you to consume the current drinks served by the NPC. Be sure to review the Types of Drinks and ‘Drunk Level Chances’ before having more than 2 drinks in a turn. |
Toast | The Toast option lets you pass your turn to your opponents. Remember, you can’t Toast on your first drink of your turn. |
Do nothing | Choosing to ‘Do nothing’ allows you to stop drinking but remain in the game, giving your opponent a chance to exceed your Drunk Level. After this, you will no longer be served a drink. |
Leave Game (Give Up) | If you choose to ‘Leave Game’, you will forfeit the Drinkup Challenge. This results in an automatic loss of the round and victory for your opponent. |
Each turn, you will be served a different drink, these drinks will contain amounts of Drunk level where you can strategically take to not get drunk (Reaching 200 drunk level).
Types of Drinks | Drunk Level Chances (Small, Medium, Large, 1 Gallon) |
Beer (Color Yellow) | 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 |
Red Wine (Color Red) | 15, 30, 45, 60, 75 |
Whiskey (Color Orange) | 20, 40, 60, 80, 100 |
How to Win the Drink Up Challenge
If you happen to read this guide, you’ll have upper hand to win the round by following our strategies:
Strategy | How to |
Drinks until you reached 150 and up Drunk Level, but not 200. | The goal of Drink Up challenge is whoever gets the highest drunk level but without getting drunks (reaching the max drunk level of 200) will win the match. When you reach this amount of drunk level, you can now give your turn to the opponent by pressing the “Toast”. It is important to utilize the Toast as when you and your opponents has a tie scores, the last person to Do nothing will win. |
Drunk level is not high enough (150 to 160) | If your Drunk Level is between 150-175, you have the option to take one more drink. However, whether or not you should do this will depend on your luck and guts. The chances of getting smaller or safer drinks based on the current served are as follows: 150 Drunk Level: – Beer (80% Chances) – Red Wine (60% Chances) – Whiskey (40% Chances) 155 to 160 Drunk Level: – Beer (60% Chances) – Red Wine (40% Chances) – Whiskey (20% Chances) 165 to 175 Drunk Level: – Beer (40% Chances) – Red Wine (20% Chances) – Whiskey (20% Chances) 180 Drunk Level (This is already a safer score, but if you think the opponent has higher score, here are the chances if you wish to drink more): – Beer (20% Chances) – Red Wine (20% Chances) – Whiskey (0% Chances) So, be careful of drinking whiskey as it has high chance of maxing out your drunk level. |
When the Opponent Stops Drinking | If your opponent stops drinking and says, “I can’t take it anymore. I’m out,” especially if they’re already wiggling, they’ve likely reached their desired Drunk Level. Your goal now is to surpass their Drunk Level, which will also depend on your luck. Try to estimate the opponent’s Drunk Level based on the drinks they already taken. |
Just Do Nothing | If you think your Drunk Level is high enough to win the round (between 150-195), you can choose to “Do Nothing” and stop drinking until the timer runs out. This allows your character to wait until your opponent stops drinking too. |
Many Cups Don’t Guarantee Victory | It’s important to remember that having more cups than your opponent doesn’t mean you’ve won. The winner is determined by who reaches the highest Drunk Level without getting drunk (reaching Drunk Level 200). |
If you lose the round, your character will get the Drunk buff wherein your character movement will look like it was drunk, and the game interface will get blurry. Sometimes, your character will also gets dizzy (randomly run to any direction).
Event 3 – My Booze-up
The Booze-up party is you allow to invite your trusted friends or guildmates to join your party to complete the cooking of dishes. Which allows you to collectively obtain the required ingredients and fasten the preparation of dishes.
Players can still leave its current party and the Prepped Dish progress of each player will not be affected. So make sure to only invite players whom you think can complete the tasks.
Event 4 – Booze-up Prepped Dishes
This is where your party will prepare the dishes. The ingredients here can be obtained from burning your Odin Blessings. After joining a new party, make sure to sync first before you handover the ingredients as this will be put to waste once you’ve clicked the sync button.
