Gravity Game Hub (GGH) Pte. Ltd., a subsidiary of Gravity Co. Ltd., has announced the launch of a closed beta for their official sequel, Ragnarok Origin (ROO), which will feature various content, such as Classic Jobs System, Guild System, and Immersive Gameplay.
Ragnarok Origin Closed Beta Info
During this closed beta test, players must top-up to receive reimbursement rewards once the closed beta ends. The total amount topped up during the closed beta will be converted to Kitty Fruit upon the official release.
Users will need to login using the same account they used to register in order to receive their top up amount and rewards.
Additionally, you will be able to receive merchandise rewards, as well as a unique title after the official release.
- Time: March 2(nd) 10:00 to March 22(nd) 23:59 (GMT+7)
- Beta Test Format: Reimbursement rewards beta. Progress will be deleted upon completion.
- How to Join: Join the official Discord to obtain the APK/PC download address. The beta is limited to 20,000 players on a first come, first serve basis.
Classic Multi-Job System
As one of Ragnarok Online’s most iconic features, Ragnarok Origin couldn’t be a sequel without the multi-job system. Upon your initial login, you may select one of six jobs according to your preferences. Jobs have different styles and strengths in battle, so all players will be able to find a job suitable to their style of gameplay.
In addition, you will be able to choose a sub-job once you reach the designated level. Choosing a sub job will not only improve your combat effectiveness but will also make players more specialized in certain skill systems and enrich gameplay.
Guild Mode
Since Ragnarok Online was one of the earliest social-driven MMOs, Ragnarok Origin has made great efforts to help players make friends and interact with each other through the in-depth guild system. Various contribution mechanics have been designed to find the most suitable way for players to create guilds and meet the social needs of players.
Rich guild gameplay allows you to participate in guild wars with your old friends, reliving the glory days of fighting side by side. Moreover, you can invite others to dance at guild banquets in the evenings to establish bonds with new partners! There are also preparations before the banquet, fulfilling your wish to make a loving dinner with your beloved.
Immersive Mode
Apart from the multi-job system and social mechanics, Ragnarok Origin has also added features to improve immersion through environment interactions. In addition to the classic fishing mechanic, map elements such as chairs, rock walls, and ladders are no longer just for aesthetics. Plays can now sit on benches with their friends, climb up rock walls, and enjoy the fun of exploring the world more freely.
Ragnarok Origin has also optimized the cumbersome and lengthy quest system with more compelling and challenging mechanics for an even greater sense of adventure. This will reduce the player’s time spent grinding quests, presenting more opportunities to interact with other players, create parties to tackle challenging dungeons, and to make friends who share in their love of RO.
