Microsoft has launched a new feature for the Minecraft Education game during the celebration of Safer Internet Day, the Privacy Prodigy. It is a new game-based learning experience designed to teach kids from 7-18 years old about online privacy and safety.
The game is a single-player experience which focuses on how to keep personal data safe when online, and how to make decisions on who should have access to it. It introduces players to the concept of areas of trust and helps them identify different types of information that need to be managed, as well as strategies for protecting personal data and mitigating issues that may arise from compromised information.
The Privacy Prodigy is now available in the Minecraft Education lesson library. For those who owned the Bedrock version can access this game for free on Minecraft Marketplace.
