If you’re a fan of Ragnarok X Next Generation, you may have encountered a frustrating bug that leaves your character stuck on the map and unable to move, an error message saying “System Error” also appears. This bug seems to occur particularly after the game has been updated, with some players reporting that it happens when they log in following a server refresh.
UPDATE as of 9:35AM: The bug has been fixed, and players can now play the game without experiencing the problem.
UPDATE as of 8:25AM: The developer has already been made aware of the issue and is working to fix it.
If you’ve found yourself stuck on the map in Ragnarok X Next Generation, don’t worry – you’re not alone, and for now, nothing you can do to to fix it. The error seems a server issue. However, if you updated the game during the midnight update before the server refresh, then you should be able to play the game.
Even the Taiwan server also has the same problem:
The bug put your character in a vegetative state in the game’s physical world, but your character’s soul remained in limbo. All of the characters who were stuck were just standing on the map (Just like the movie “The Happening”).
Even the couple skill “United by Faith,” which allows you to call your partner to spawn in your area, didn’t do the trick.
Our character was still stuck after calling but moved on to the other map.
Unfortunately, at this time there doesn’t seem to be a surefire way to completely resolve the issue. However, we encourage players to continue reaching out to the game’s developers and calling attention to the bug on social media. With any luck, the developers will be able to identify the cause of the problem and release a fix in a future update. In the meantime, we recommend checking back for updates and keeping an eye on the game’s official social media channels for any announcements or troubleshooting advice. We hope that this issue will be resolved soon, and that players can get back to enjoying Ragnarok X Next Generation without any further interruptions.
