The much awaited tournament for the MMORPG mobile game Ragnarok X Next Generation is finally arrived in the game, with prizes worth over 60,000 USD. The theme for this season is dubbed as The Season of Thor.
Starting today July 20, adventurers can register and participate in the special event found in the game’s menu. There will be no more requirement to join for the Season 1, as long as you have 100,000 crystals you can create your own team or join for free with other team leader, which means anyone can join the competition. Ragnarok X Next Generation (ROX) also prepared a prizes of $60,000 or PHP 3.2 million when converted to Philippine currency for the Top 8 teams in the regions. Aside from this, winning team will also has a chance to win exclusive and limited-edition “Glorious” title that will be shown across servers.
War of the Chosen Season 2 – Season of Thor
The official pre-registration page for the War of the Chosen Season 2 is now live on their website at https://www.ragnarokx.com/warofthechosenS2, pre-register to get extra rewards. For those who wants to compete in this tournament, they can do so by opening the War of the Chosen button on the in-game menu. The registration will starts from June 20 up to June 26 @ 9:59PM (Manila, Philippine Time). Players can be team leader and they only need 100K crystal to form their team, players who wants to be a member can freely join other team without spending any crystals.
Once the team consists of 8 has been completed and registered, it will automatically registered for the Server Qualifying match that will starts on June 26, 2022 at 10:00PM (Manila, Philippine Time).
Winners from the Server Qualifying match will be able to participate in the Server Elimination match. The top 8 teams from the Elimination match will then can compete into the main championship.
Contest Rules
For the Server Qualifying Match and Server Qualifying Match, the games winning mechanics will be a “Best of 3” format. The first team to win two rounds will advance to the next stage of the tournament. In the event of a tie, the third round will be played as a tiebreaker. Only one team from each server can proceed to the next round.
For the Main Server Quarterfinals, the games will be in a “Best of 5” format. The first team to win three games will advance to the next round. Only the winning team can proceed to the next round and the final winner will be crowned as the War of the Chosen Season 2 champions!
Tournament Prizes
Same as the first WOC season 1, the winning team will be able to display their own characters in the main city for all servers for 1 month.
Aside from that, they will received exclusive rewards such as Thor’s Hammer (Mjolnir), as well as special item like custom-designed Wings, Costumes, and a Championship trophy. In addition, an exclusive title will be rewarded as well.
The good news is, for adventurers who didn’t make to finals. The server of the winning team will have an exclusive benefit. All adventurers from that server will be able to received a 2,000 Odin’s Blessing every day in a span of 1 week.

Predict the Winner
If you’re feeling lucky, why not try your hand at predicting the winning team for that match? Starting the Server Qualifying Match, players can bet and predict using the Chosen Medal to support a team. All participants can obtain corresponding number of Chosen Medals according to their ranking through different stages of the competition. To obtain Chosen Medal, adventurers can get it from daily activities, monthly cards and KVM.
Predicting the winning team for that match will allow ad venturers to get more medals based on the percentage of their bet. However, players who failed to predict will lose all of that medals.
The Chosen Medal can be used to exchange for a variety of in-game items and gifts, including those that will be available soon in the game. With this medal, you’ll be able to get your hands on some of the most sought-after items and gifts, so be sure to keep an eye out for them!

In the War of the Chosen Season 2, the players will be able to take control of the three factions – the Eldar, the Orks, and the Chaos Marines. Each of these factions will have their own unique units, abilities, and playstyles. The Eldar will be able to use their powerful psychic abilities to control the battlefield, the Orks will be able to use their brute strength to crush their enemies, and the Chaos Marines will be able to use their dark magic to corrupt and control their enemies.
