After so much delay, the much-anticipated Digimon video game, Digimon Survive, will finally has its released date. While the game has no confirmed date for worldwide release, it will be released first in Japan on July 28, 2022. The news for the release date comes from a Japanese magazine.
The game was first announced way back 2018 and expected to released in 2019, but for some reason, the development was delayed many times – twice rescheduling the released date back in 2020 and 2021.
Digimon Survive is a role-playing game developed by Bandai Namco and set in a brand-new world. The game stars original Digimon characters designed by Uichi Ukumo and music by Tomoki Miyoshi, with players taking control of the protagonist Takuma Momozuka as he becomes lost on a school trip and finds himself in an unknown land populated by Digimon creatures.
The game design will be in classic 2D mixed with 3D RPG elements. Here is the teaser trailer for Digimon Survive. Digimon Survive will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One X/S and PC (Steam).
