After the 5.0 update, some players are encountering an error when playing Ragnarok M Eternal Love, making them stuck on the loading screen and not able to play. This is common for players who are using outdated or low-end smartphones which mostly has insufficient memory to install the game. The error they receive are “Decompression failed, please check remaining space and retry”.
Since the game is already installed before, the game can still be installed to your mobile phones. It just requires rigid steps to free up some space from your phone.
Free up Space and Memory
Mobile phone has a built-in app that can free up unused memory on a single click. Use this app to temporarily free up unused memory. If you don’t have this app, you can use “Master Cleaner”, you can search it on Google Play to install the app.
Backup important photos, videos and uninstall the unused app that you do not need. Transfer your photos and videos to a storage device to free up space from your phone. Make sure it has at least 4GB to 6GB of free space, the higher free storage the better.
If an app is important, you can temporarily force stop the app from the Settings > App. In this way, it will free up some few memory for updating the game.
Reformat, Factory Reset
If the above step won’t work, your last resort is to reformat your mobile phones and prioritize the game on install first after the reformat.
