Western Digital has a new high-speed NVMe SSD dedicated for Content Creators, starts at $55
If you’ve notice SSD prices drops drastically, manufacturer are working on a next level SSD. Just like for example, the Samsung 960 EVO 500GB has a speed of 3,200 MB/s, and recently price drop below $150. To sized up the market, Western Digital is now aiming for their upcoming WD Blue SN500 NVMe SSDs for faster speed and budget friendly.

Their new 500GB M.2 SSD is pack with half of the read and write of the Samsung 960 EVO, at around 1,700MB/s for and 1,450MB/s for write. Surprisingly, it is also half the price at only $78. The higher model 1TB is pack with 3,470 MB/s speed that can fight the PRO series of Samsungs SSD.
This new SSD will give content creator a budget-friendly storage device, ideal for recording and editing 4K videos.
