In the Blackout mode in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. You’ve probably noticed there are lots of character that you can actually and play in the game, with a total of 29 characters. These unlockable characters can be play permanently during the battle royale mode, before that you need to complete a specific task to play these characters. Kodus to Activision! There are 3 set types of Characters in the game, Blackout, Zombies, and Multiplayer.
To unlock the Call of Duty Black Ops 4 characters, you need to complete a particular task that is assigned to each character. A unique item is hidden in the map and when you find it the special challenge will be activated, the list of objectives often includes killing an enemy with a certain weapon, killing zombies or looting for an item. However, some character requires to unlock certain Echelon level to get it.
We’ve listed these task below for you to quickly unlock each character in the Call of Duty Black Ops 4: Black Out.
Blackout Characters
So far, there is only two unlockable character that you can get by completing a particular task. Other characters require Echelon level.
Woods
- Obtain a Bandanna from killing a zombie or a fallen player
- Get to a Helicopter during a match
- Win a match (Chiken Dinner)
Menendez
- Obtain the Locket
- Kill any enemy with a shotgun
- Kill any enemy with a melee attack
- Finish the match with a Locket in your inventory
Ranger
- Unlocked at Echelon 20
Frogman
- Unlocked at Echelon 40
Airborne
- Unlocked at Echelon 60
Seal
- Unlocked at Echelon 80
Battle Hardened
- Unlocked at Echelon 80 Prestige
Zombies Character
There’s a single character here that you can only unlock by using a Blackout pass. The rest is challenging objectives.
Shadow Man
- Unlocked via Blackout Pass
Dempsey
- Find a Death Machine
- Kill any Zombies
- Finish the match and reach top 10
Nikolai
- Find a Cymbal Monkey
- Kill any Zombies
- Finish the match and reach top 10
Takeo
- Find a Katanas
- Kill any Zombies
- Finish the match and reach top 10
Scarlett
- Obtain the Racing Googles and Bandanna by killing any zombies or from a fallen players.
Multiplayer Characters
All characters in the Multiplayer can be unlocked by finding a unique item and completing specific objectives.
Battery
- Obtain a Battery’s Wat Machine
- Kill any enemy with a Grenade Launcher
- Finish the match and reach top 15
Firebreak
- Obtain the Burned Doll from a supply box or supply drop
- Confirm a kill or clean up a downed player with fire
- Finish the match with the Burned Doll in your inventory
Ruin
- Craft the Grapple Gun from missing pieces
- Finish the match and reach top 15
Seraph
- Find a Annihilator
- Kill any enemy with a Annihilator
- Finish the match and reach top 15
Ajax
- Loot fallen enemies for Broken Armor Plating
- Finish the match with a 3 x Broken Armor Playing in your inventory
Crash
- Obtain the I Ching Coins item
- Avoid collapse damage
- Finish the match and reach top 7
- Finish the match with a I Ching Coins in your inventory
Torque
- Obtain the Note from Torque from a supply box or supply drop
- Deploy 2 x Razor Wires and 1 x Carricade
- Finish the match and reach top 7
- Finish the match with the Note from Torque in your Inventory
