Capcom announce the official recommended and minimum specs for their newest remake game Resident Evil 2. The specs will surely a good news for everyone, as it is not demanding and doesn’t require you to get a higher GPU to play this game. Probably, Capcom did an excellent job of optimizing this game with their in-house game engine.
The PC specs of the Resident Evil 2 Remake was posted on their Steam page, and you’ll notice that the game minimum requirement for the GPU, only needs 2GB VRAM and the recommended specs is 3GB VRAM.
On this year’s E3 2018, it was one of the best game showcase during the Sony’s briefing, and the fans were surprised by the first game trailer. Unlike other game that uses a third-party engine, the engine they are using is in-house – it’s the Capcom’s new higher-end REngine technology, which was also used in the Resident Evil 7. The remake Resident Evil 2 will surely look the same when playing it on PC and Consoles with its fluid FPS.
However, the game will only run on a 64bit system and a minimum of 8GB of RAM.

Resident Evil 2 Remake will launch next year, January 25, 2019 on PS4, XBOX One and PC (Steam).
