Just a week ago, NVIDIA set up a launching page for their new product with TI highlighted in the text and most people know it was for GTX 1080 Ti. Now at WDC 2017, NVIDIA finally unveiled it’s one of the latest flagship and most awaited GPU of GTX 10 series card, the new NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti which is way faster than GTX 1080 by 20% to 40% and almost outperforms the power of GTX Titan X.
Based from the benchmark chart above, we see GTX 1080 Ti is by 1.4 faster than GTX 1080 tested in Hitman Pro, Battlefield 1, The Division, Doom 4 and other game. If you’re using an 144Hz and 4k monitor display, the GTX 1080 ti is likely the GPU you’ve been looking for as it has faster framerate and can handle 4K display better.
NVIDIA also improved the power delivery system for the GTX 1080 Ti, which improved the efficiency of the card although it eats 3% more power that the GTX 1080, its still power efficiency than the GTX Titan X which powered in 250W while the GTX 1080 Ti will work enough on 220W power supply.
