GigaByte GeForce GTX 1080 Aorus Xtreme Edition 8GB is Out

In early November Gigabyte announce for their plan on upcoming Aorus gaming brand for their motherboards and graphics cards. Then on CES 2017, Gigabyte unveiled their Aorus motherboards line up for Kaby Lake processor and now it unveiled the first graphics card under the Aorus brand of GigaByte.

Gigabyte introduce their first Aorus Graphic Card the Aorus GeForce GTX 1080 Xtreme Edition card with 256bit Memory Bus and 8GB of GDDR5 memory. The card also comes with a  factory overclocked with 2 options for OC mode and Gaming mode.

In comparison with the Aorus to the Nvidia’s reference card, the reference card has a clockspeed of 1,607Mhz and boost clock speed of 1,733Mhz. Which Aorus outperform the reference card in both Base and in Boost mode even in Gaming mode alone of Aorus card. With the OC mode option, definitely the Aorus brand is much faster than NVIDIA’s reference card.

In regards of cooling, Gigabyte keeps the card cool with its Windforce 3 x stack fans and cooper cooling solution – which consist of a 3 x 100mm fans and a front side and back side cooling module, the large cooper base plate is place directly to the GPU and VRAM with a composite heat pipes to efficiently transfer the heat from interior to the heat sink. This makes the card quiet and minimize the temperature.

You can also setup up to 5 monitors on this rig plus a dedicated port for your VR, it comes with a 3 Display Port, 1 HDMI, 1 DVI-D ports and 2 HDMI ports, It can also support an 8K display at 60Hz monitors. The card also has a customizable RGB lightning from side, front and top of the card.

GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1080 Aorus Xtreme Edition is covered with a 4 Year warranty which you can register online. The price are still unknown and the release date as well.
